HOW I FOUND INFUSIO & PREPARED FOR MY STEM CELL JOURNEY
HOW I FOUND INFUSIO
After my multiple, dramatic relapses when trying to get off of antibiotics, I knew I had to find another option. So I started my search on the World Wide Web - shocker! I was looking for the silver bullet. I have friends that have spent hundreds of thousands of dollars trying different treatments for at least a decade. I decided, since I’m going to spend the money, I’d rather pass on spending the time…not to mention I was ready to get on with my life and understood the longer I let it linger, the worse it would become.
I literally googled “if money wasn’t an issue what Lyme treatment would you do?”. It sounds ridiculous…and it IS ridiculous….but I didn’t know what else to google since this is such a financial suck of a disease and it seems like almost anything that works is SUCH an investment.
My search actually worked, and that’s when I stumbled upon Infusio in discussion boards online – which are never typically reliable in the first place – but it at least piqued my interest. I also recalled that Kelly Osborne had been there and said it had “cured” her Lyme Disease...a term that is rarely used when relating to LD.
Then I decided to join their Facebook group…then other stem cell Facebook groups. Sadly this seems to be the platform of getting the best information about LD and from current and past patients. And with this disease, we pretty much understand that higher powers involved in the medical industry are not truly looking out for us, so we have to lookout for ourselves. I’ve met some amazing people whom I’ve learned SO much from – I’m forever indebted for their support and knowledge. This community is the most inspiring I’ve ever been a part of, I have so much respect for anyone and everyone in this “spot.”
I started getting excited seeing the positive feedback on Facebook. I have never seen anything like the response - that such a large percentage of patients who had undergone the same protocol, had actually made REAL progress in healing.
One thing about Infusio, they use your own stem cells derived from your own body. Some of the other world renowned clinics use embryonic or umbilical chord cells, from other sources. This is a risk in my mind (you have to do your own research). I didn’t trust that cells from another animal or human could be 100% accurately tested for abnormalities or risks. Also, embryonic cells have the risk of causing tumors, possibly cancerous, in the future. For me, I wanted my own body, and nothing else, to drive my healing.
I finally, with the support of my family, decided to commit to Infusio. I had put it out into the universe and I received a very clear feeling that this was the path I was meant to take.
PREPPING
Simultaneously I was also going to The Morrison Center in NYC as I had heard many people rave about the clinic. I had started seeing a doctor there as a supplemental and more accessible resource than my other doctor. He could help me with certain supportive and detox IV therapies as well.
The one thing he mentioned to me, that I was also worried about, was still having elevated levels of some heavy metals before going to Infusio. The opinion was that you want to tie up any loose detox ends – let’s call them – before going through the stem cell procedure. I had done some chelation (a protocol to help extract the heavy metal toxins from your body) for a handful of months last year without feeling much benefit and it was hard on my body so I stopped. Was this enough? I was still testing high in Mercury and Lead. I did some additional chelation up until it was time to leave.
Dentistry is such an integral part to overall health and it is rarely appreciated and performed correctly. This is largely acknowledged and understood in all of Europe.
Therefore, I decided to go through with cavitation surgery prior to Infusio. I had chronic jaw tension and figured this was an obvious procedure I wanted to take care of to set myself up for success prior to Infusio. I saw a doctor in NJ, he was beyond amazing (“Switzerland quality”), both his knowledge and his bedside manner. He performed two cavitation surgeries, one on each side, two teeth each procedure. The recovery wasn’t awesome, as any oral surgery isn’t. After a few months, I could definitely tell there were improvements post both surgeries.
There were some other detox methods I had been using up until treatment and continue to use today: ionic foot baths, deep tissue or lymphatic drainage massage, colonics & infrared body wrap.
All of these procedures led right up until I left for Germany in March of this year. The excitement and nerves about the experience were overwhelming. But I always tried to refer back to that feeling of warmth and security the universe had been sending to me…xx
